Iqua sold to Savox Group
Established in 2004, Finnish-based Iqua Ltd was established in cooperation with a small group of individual founders and venture capital firms Viking Venture (Norway), Eqvitec (Finland) and Finnish Industry Investment.

Today, the Savox group and the owners of Iqua signed a Share Purchase Agreement, solidifying Iqua as one of the four companies in the Savox Group. Established in 1982, Finnish-based Savox Oy is one of the leading providers of audio and data solutions for demanding professional users.
Innovative designs and cutting-edge “green” technology have helped Iqua establish itself as a key player in the Bluetooth accessories market. In addition to launching the world’s first solar-powered headset, Iqua has also been awarded a number of prizes and recognitions, including the 2008 CES Innovations Award. The groundbreaking combination of science and style later led the Iqua Sun to be selected as an “Innovations and 2008 Design and Engineering Award” honoree in the Wireless Headsets Accessories product category. Today, Iqua products are available in more than 25 countries, including Apple stores in selected markets and in the points of sales of leading operators and retailers.
